About Curious Pots

This archive primarily features interactive maps that showcase various archaeological sites from a specific time period on the Indian subcontinent. On clicking on a particular site, one can view details about the different styles of pottery found there. One can also read about the dates of the excavations, the layers at which the pottery and pot sherds were found, and other relevant details about the site. Furthermore, to promote awareness and understanding about these pottery styles, we have provided links to our sources for each site. 

 

Our sources consist of archaeological reports, essays, and books published by various scholars.
