Pottery Style Details

  • The pottery included both handmade and wheel-turned vessels. 

  • The Neolithic vessel fabrics were varied with fine grey ware of medium to thick fabric, coarse grey ware, and black wares of both plain and burnished varieties.

  • The burnished wares came from Late Neolithic contexts only. 

  • Shapes included bowls, pedestalled platters, jars and long-necked vases.
