Excavations during 1961-62 revealed a 40 to 45 cm of clayey deposit of neolithic culture
From this deposit were also recorded microliths of non-geometric variety represented by blades, points, lunates and various types of scrapers without any evidence of pottery. The time gap between these two levels i.e. microliths and neolithic remains to be ascertained. This level appears to have resonantly connected with the similar levels noticed at neolithic sites in Bihar.
