Pottery Style Details
Five-phase cultural sequence:
Period I is characterised by several types of red ware comparable with Megalithic ceramics from other sites in Kashmir. The presence of a burnished grey ware and a coarse hand-made ware are also reported, though from the brief descriptions it is unclear if these relate to other Neolithic types.
Period II contains ceramics typical of the Northern Black Polished Ware (NBPW) culture, the dominant Iron Age culture across the northern Indian Subcontinent.
